We can assess the needs of disabled people, make recommendations on appropriate equipment and aids to daily living, adaptations to the home and care support needs in the following ways:
On Site Booking System
Mutually convenient appointments can be made from Monday to Thursday, to offer 1:1 advice and support about our products and how your needs can best be served and managed, or simply to look around the shop. This service is free of charge.

Private Home Assessments
Our Occupational Therapist can visit you in your own home (within a 35 mile radius) and provide you with a written report and a list of recommendations. This is particularly useful for clients who may be:
Recently discharged from hospital and having difficulty coping
Considering home adaptations
Considering moving house
Requiring a written report for outside agencies
Having difficulty leaving their homes
The price for a home assessment is £ 90.00 inclusive. This cost covers travel, one hours consultation and a full written report.
Disabled Facility Grants
Our Occupational Therapist can provide reports for the local authority for the purpose of obtaining grants. You will need to check whether your local authority will accept private occupational therapy reports for the purpose of obtaining a DFG before contacting us. Please note that our assessments are completed in a similar manner to those carried out by the statutory services and that employing your own OT does not guarantee that you will receive a grant. All grants will be subject to a test of resources.
The cost of this service is £120.00 for the initial visit, written report and referral to DFG when appropriate. Further visits when necessary will be charged at £60.00 per visit.
