Tansor Assessment Centre was opened in 1998 by an occupational therapist to provide facilities in which to assess and advise clients for specialist equipment and home adaptations.  Although situated in a very rural area, far from any High Street, it is now an estabished mobility shop serving the local communtiy.

This website is designed to tell you more about Tansor Assessment Centre and the services it offers.  The photograph on the right was taken on the day the new shop was officially opened by John Richardson, in 2005.

The building in the picture has been converted to two treatment rooms and the purpose built mobility shop has been built nearby.

  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES
    Requests for private occupational therapy assessments have increased considerably in recent months.  To ensure that we continue to provide you with an efficient service, we have additional occupational therapy staff now, working from Tansor Assessment Centre.
     
    We will  be posting further details of the new staff very shortly. Meanwhile, please contact Tansor Assessment Centre if you wish to employ your own occupational therapist.  We are able to carry out home assessments, provide written reports and organise aids and adaptations in your home. 
     
    Please note, that Tansor Assessment Centre is a private establishment and that costs for occupational therapy visits or any additional works or equipment provided will be charged for.

Please let us know if it is not convenient for you to visit on the normal opening days.  We are often here at other times, but cannot guarantee this, as we are a small business and do not have additional staff to be here when we are not.  However, if you let us know when you are able to come, we will arrange to be here.
